Developed by Mikhail Kalashnikov after World War II in the Soviet Union, the AK47 – or Avtomat Kalashnikov 1947 – was designed to meet the Soviet military’s need for a fully dedicated assault rifle platform. It is one of the most popular rifles in the world due to its ease to manufacture and it’s astounding simplicity, durability, reliability – even in the most adverse of conditions. The venerable Russian AK47, and its variants, remains as one of the most used, most iconic, mass produced firearms in the world and is still in service to this day.
The CYMA Tactical AK47S RIS is a modern-day spin on the ubiquitous assault rifle. The body of the gun is made out of high strength ABS polymer. This helps reduce the overall weight of the gun, without sacrificing durability. Coupled with the polymer hand guard and pistol gip, this is one of the lighter AKs on the market. Unlike most AK47s, the CYMA Tactical AK47S RIS, uses a polymer rail system hand guard that allows the end user to mount any scopes, optics, flashlights, lasers or grips to the gun. The standard AK pistol grip was swapped out for a more ergonomic one that provides a better grip when holding the gun. The AK47S uses an under folding stock to give the operator a more compact rifle to use in CQB and for easier storage.
The AK47S has a full metal, reinforced version 3 gearbox with quality, reinforced internal parts. Overall the internal build quality is just as solid as the body of the AEG. Solid external construction, robust internal build the CYMA Tactical AK47S RIS is a unique take on a classic assault rifle. The addition of a rail system gives players the option to customize the airsoft gun to their personal preference to meet any tactical situation.
